Jellycat Bartholomew Bear (Medium, 28cm)
Specimen notes: tumbly caramel fur, patient disposition, holds a hug without complaint. Bartholomew is the Society's benchmark bear — the one all other bears are measured against and found slightly less huggable.

What the Society noted
The benchmark bear — tumbly caramel fur and a patient way of holding a hug. At 28cm it is big enough to matter and small enough to carry; the sort given once and kept for years, which is the only real test of a bear.
