Living Nature Badger
Specimen notes: the stripes are the point, and Living Nature have got them right — a low, broad, night-shaped animal. Britain's largest surviving carnivore, catalogued at last, and rather better behaved than the wild sort.

What the Society noted
The low, broad, wedge build is right, and so are the face stripes — they run to the nose for a reason, the clearest night-signal in a British wood. You hear a badger long before you see one; this is the closest most of us get.
