Cosmos Bear

Ursus plushia stellaris

The hill, after dark

Cosmos Bear, received not found

Specimen observed against the sky; correspondent observed sitting down for once.

From the notebook

Found on a hill at an hour no reasonable person keeps, looking upward with the particular stillness of something waiting to be collected by the sky.

I have listed its range as low orbit and top bunks, and I stand by both. Some specimens are found. This one, I suspect, allowed itself to be.

Archivist's note
